This was a revenge contest for Elbert County, as the team was forced to settle for a 75-47 defeat when these two played last Thursday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Elbert County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aj Brown, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three blocks. That's the first time this season that Brown posted two or more blocks. Landon Hill was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Elbert County's win bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Tallulah Falls, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elbert County will take on Athens Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Athens Christian is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games. As for Tallulah Falls, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Commerce at 7:30 a.m. Commerce is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
