In what's become a running theme this season, the Auburn Mountainview Lions gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Kentlake 88-42 at home. Auburn Mountainview's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Auburn Mountainview to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sebastian Arius, who scored 18 points along with six assists and four steals. Arius also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mande Wanlemvo, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
The victory was the third in a row for Auburn Mountainview, bringing their record for this year to 10-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.7 points per game. As for Kentlake, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.
Auburn Mountainview will look to defend their home court on Monday against Auburn Riverside at 7:30 p.m. Auburn Riverside has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Kentlake, they will head out on the road to face off against Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Auburn's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Kentlake has been banged up by 11 consecutive losses on the road.
