Narraguagus is 7-1 against Bucksport since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Knights will welcome the Golden Bucks at 5:30 p.m. Narraguagus is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

If George Stevens Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Narraguagus, they should've done a better job of containing Eileen Berry. The Knights blew past the Eagles 3-0 on Friday for which the team can thank Berry, who had 19 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played.
The final score came out to 25-13, 25-5, 25-20.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Narraguagus to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ivy Stanwood, who had 13 digs, three aces, and one block. That block marked the first that Stanwood has had this season.
They weren't the only good servers: Narraguagus was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 14 aces in 12 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Bucksport came up short against North Yarmouth Academy on Saturday and fell 3-1.
The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 14-25, 25-17, 25-19.
Narraguagus' win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Bucksport, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
Everything went Narraguagus' way against Bucksport in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Narraguagus made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Golden Bucks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
