Romyn Waugh and Chriseanie Nealy were among the main playmakers for Pinole Valley as the former dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds and the latter scored 31 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Nnamdi Osajindu was another key contributor, scoring four points.
Meanwhile, Saint Mary's lost to the Redhawks at home by a decisive 70-54 margin on Tuesday. Saint Mary's has struggled against the Redhawks recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Pinole Valley's win bumped their record up to 11-14. As for Saint Mary's, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.
