Mahnomen won the last time they faced Lake Park-Audubon, and things went their way on Friday, too. Mahnomen took the game and then some with a 35-0 win over Lake Park-Audubon. Followers of Mahnomen probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected five blowout victories.
The victory bumped Mahnomen's record up to 6-0. The defeat dropped Lake Park-Audubon's record to 2-3.
Next week Mahnomen take on Badger/Greenbush-Middle River at 7:00 PM. Mahnomen will be strutting in after a victory while Badger/Greenbush-Middle River will be stumbling in from a loss. As for Lake Park-Audubon, they will face off against Red Lake County Central/Red Lake Falls. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
