Despite the loss, Bethel Assembly Christian Academy had strong showings from McKinley Conner, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds, and Peyton Liverman, who scored eight points. Liverman scored a full 30.8% of Bethel Assembly Christian Academy's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Bethel Assembly Christian Academy bumped their record down to 1-12 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.0 points per game. As for Rock Church, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bethel Assembly Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Suffolk Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 12th. Hopefully Suffolk Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Monday. As for Rock Church, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bethel Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
