Windsor is on a seven-game streak of home wins, while Newington is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Warriors will square off against the Nor'easters at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Windsor's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last three games.
Windsor is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 61-0 win over Plainfield. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Warriors' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut football rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Panthers are ranked 93rd).

Windsor got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Anthony Robinson out in front who threw for 322 yards and six TDs on only 19 passes. Robinson's passing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 301 passing yards. Missoni Brown also helped with three touchdowns in total.
Meanwhile, while Newington put up some points on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Middletown. The Nor'easters walked away with a 12-0 win over the Blue Dragons.
One reason for the win was Newington's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Victor Rodriguez refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Heath Weeden was another major factor on D, forcing two fumbles, making 13 total tackles (1.0 for loss), and defending one pass.
Windsor's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Newington, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's matchup: Windsor has been excellent in the air this season, having averaged 299.1 passing yards per game. It's a different story for Newington, though, as they've been averaging only 75.1 passing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant passing game?
Everything came up roses for Windsor against Newington in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 50-0 victory. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Nor'easters have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
