The Erie Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They breezed by Cheyenne Mountain at home to the tune of 67-39. That looming 67-39 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Erie yet this season.
Erie's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brayden Haan led the charge by scoring 17 points along with six rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Haan scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Lee, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds.
The victory got Erie back to even at 5-5. As for Cheyenne Mountain, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
Erie will head out on the road to face off against Mountain Range at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain Range will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. Cheyenne Mountain will take on Lewis-Palmer at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lewis-Palmer has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 200 points over their last three games.
