While the Knights didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Little Indians 7-0 in the first quarter.
Meanwhile, while Mars put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for West Mifflin. The Fightin' Planets claimed a resounding 46-0 win over the Titans. That 46 point margin sets a new team best for the Fightin' Planets this season.
Knoch better keep an eye on Ayden Yocum. He was instrumental in Mars' win, rushing for 253 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. Gabe Hein did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 86 receiving yards.
Mars was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 345 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.
