North Forney came up short on Tuesday despite Zach Thompson delivering his best game to date. Thompson went 13 of 20 en route to 32 points and seven rebounds, good enough to set a new career-high in points in the process. That was a full 52.5% of North Forney's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Thompson and North Forney will challenge Royse City at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th. The Falcons had to take a loss when they last met the Bulldogs, but Thompson had little to do with the loss: he went 12 for 17 on his way to 31 points and six boards.
