The Wise Pumas extended their postseason success on Friday against the Broadneck Bruins. They didn't even let the Bruins onto the board and left with a 21-0 win. Considering Wise has won ten games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Wise was led to victory by Peyton Nelson and DeCarlos Young. Nelson rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown, while Young rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. Nelson has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last four times he's played.
Wise's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Trent Wilson was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself.
The victory was the 12th in a row for Wise, bringing their record for this year to 12-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 42.83 points. As for Broadneck, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-3.
Wise does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Broadneck also has no future games currently scheduled.
