The Community Christian Academy Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 74-35 defeat at the hands of Lake Lure Classical Academy. Community Christian Academy has struggled against Lake Lure Classical Academy recently, as their matchup on Monday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Da'Zirus Watkins was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with five assists and five steals for Lake Lure Classical Academy. Watkins is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Westyn Woodard, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Community Christian Academy dropped their record down to 6-11 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Lake Lure Classical Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which somehow isn't as good as their 17-4 record this season.
Community Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lake Lure Classical Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
