The Harmony Grove Hornets need to shore up a defense that is allowing 69.89 points per game before their game on Monday. They have the luxury of staying at home another game and will welcome the Woodlawn Bears. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 32 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close contest.
Harmony Grove needed just a quick three to secure the win last week, but they couldn't get it done before the clock hit zeroes and lost 54-52 to Lafayette County. Senior Xaylon Falls wasn't much of a difference maker for Harmony Grove and finished with 11 points on 3-for-17 shooting and turned the ball over five times in his 28 minutes on the court.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Woodlawn beat Spring Hill 68-63 last Thursday.
The Hornets are now 8-11 while Woodlawn sits at 10-10. Woodlawn is 5-4 after wins this year, and Harmony Grove is 5-5 after losses.
