Bessemer City extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Brandon Gooden Jr. The Tigers came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 19-14 W against the Wenonah Dragons with plenty of help from Gooden Jr, who rushed for 116 yards and one score on only eight carries, and also threw for 122 yards and one TD.
