Cierra Barbary was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored 10 points along with 7 blocks and 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kinley Black, who scored 10 points.
Falcon's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Cheyenne Mountain, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Falcon will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Pueblo East at 11:30 a.m. As for Cheyenne Mountain, they will take on Pueblo Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
