Roosevelt has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Friday. They will challenge the Burnsville Blaze at 7:00 p.m. Burnsville took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Roosevelt, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, Roosevelt beat St. Anthony Village 52-42.
Olivia Wren was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Roosevelt's points. Another player making a difference was Cady Davis, who scored 9 points along with 8 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Burnsville lost to Minneapolis Southwest on the road by a decisive 65-51 margin on Tuesday.
Their wins bumped Roosevelt to 2-2 and St. Anthony Village to 1-1.
Roosevelt skirted past Burnsville 71-69 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Roosevelt since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
