Whittier moved up to 478 from 512 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Del Rio. The Cardinals were able to move up by topping Schurr 19-8.
Santa Fe fell to Chaparral 41-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Pioneer's Jonathan Jimenez and Matthew Rodriguez have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-0 quarterback Jimenez has thrown for 1,153 yards this season, while Rodriguez has 28 catches for 420 yards. AARON ESCARENO from El Rancho leads the league in rushing with 534 yards.
The Dons' offense has scored 146 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while Whittier has allowed only 113 on the year.
As it stands, the Titans are in third, while the Chiefs are in second.
Visko Ancich's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,712 from 7,129. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 19-8 victory over the Spartans last week.
