Ursuline extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Kate Merola. Everything went the Koalas' way against Scarsdale B on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory for which the team can thank Merola, who had 11 digs and four aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 12 times she's played.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-11, 25-11.

Ursuline's win bumped their record up to 12-4-1. As for Scarsdale B, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Ursuline beat Scarsdale B by a score of 3-0 on Friday.
