After a string of 11 wins, Centralia's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Triad Knights by a score of 2-1. The Orphans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.
In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Centralia sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-21, 22-25, 25-18.
