Warner found their leader in underclassman Anthony Porras , who scored 16 points along with nine steals and five assists. The game was Porras 's third in a row with at least ten points. Angel Carachure was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three steals.
Chula Vista Learning Community Charter's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Warner, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.
