Mid-Carolina's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tymarion Floyd, who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Floyd has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Myers, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Abbeville's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Mid-Carolina, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
Abbeville will take on Newberry at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Newberry has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 328 points over their last five contests. As for Mid-Carolina, they will be playing at home against Saluda at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
