Donna had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 43 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the Edinburg North Cougars, posting a 55-16 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Redskins, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Donna's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sonya Perez led the charge by dropping a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards. That's the most points Perez has posted since back in December of 2024. Kaylee Howell was another key player, dropping a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds.

Donna was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Edinburg North only posted four.

Donna's record now sits at 5-3. As for Edinburg North, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
