Aiden Gomez was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Shane White, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Gomez wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Foothill Tech kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Malibu only managed six hits.
Foothill Tech pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Malibu, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.
