Williams has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of RaJean Bobbins, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Legacy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaleese Mckenzie, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Mckenzie is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Ajalee Williams, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Valley has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season. As for Legacy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-9.
Valley will be playing at home against Eldorado at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eldorado is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Legacy, they will head out on the road to take on Cheyenne at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cheyenne is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
