Agoura is a perfect 10-0 against Thousand Oaks since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Agoura Chargers will face off against the Thousand Oaks Lancers at 3:30 p.m. Agoura is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.
On Tuesday, Agoura got the win against Oak Park by a conclusive 12-1. The win continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won seven in a row.

Chaden Chatelain made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had over her last seven matchups. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.
In other batting news, Mia Gomez was incredible, firing off two home runs, four runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-3. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jordy Charash, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4.
Agoura kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Thousand Oaks beat Camarillo 4-1 on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Lancers have won by exactly three runs.
Like Agoura, Thousand Oaks also got a great game from a two-way player: Ava Seeger. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). Seeger has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Faith Goldfield, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Morgan Casillas was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
The victory made it two in a row for Thousand Oaks and bumps their season record up to 7-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Agoura, their record is now 7-5.
Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Agoura hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .373. However, it's not like Thousand Oaks struggles in that department as they've averaged .314. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Agoura took their win against Thousand Oaks in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 14-3. Will Agoura repeat their success, or does Thousand Oaks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
