The Telfair County Trojans will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Bleckley County Royals at 6:00 p.m. Telfair County will be strutting in after a victory while Bleckley County will be coming in after a loss.
Telfair County can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 63-31 win over Hawkinsville at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Telfair County has posted yet this season.
Zah'Mya McDuffie was her usual excellent self, scoring 29 points along with six rebounds and four steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Telfair County's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty'Teionna Jones, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Bleckley County came up short against East Laurens on Tuesday and fell 58-49. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Bleckley County in their matchups with East Laurens: they've now lost nine in a row.
Telfair County's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Bleckley County, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 11-7.
