Even though the Scholars Guild Academy Spartans scored an imposing 55 points on Tuesday, the Hills Academy Knights still came out on top. Hills Academy walked away with a 66-55 win over Scholars Guild Academy. The win made it back-to-back wins for Hills Academy.
Hills Academy was led to victory by Adrian Campbell and Micah Pugh. Campbell scored 17 points, while Pugh scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ralph Doomes III, who scored nine points.
Hills Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Scholars Guild Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hills Academy will take on Trinity Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Scholars Guild Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Fideles Christian at 7:15 p.m. One thing working in Fideles Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
