While St. Edmund put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Bolton Academy. The Fighting Blue Jays claimed a resounding 48-0 victory over the Bears. The Fighting Blue Jays might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for St. Edmund, bringing their record up to 8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.5 points over those games. As for Bolton Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. St. Edmund will square off against Westminster Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Fighting Blue Jays will need to watch out since the Crusaders have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games. As for Bolton Academy, they will face off against Ringgold at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears will be up against the Redskins' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.56 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
