Meanwhile, a victory for Turlock Christian just wasn't in the cards on Friday as the team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They had to suffer through a 79-45 loss at the hands of Calaveras.
Everything came up roses for Hughson against Turlock Christian when the teams last played back in November of 2023, as the squad secured a 77-42 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hughson since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
