The Danvers Falcons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They blew past Prospect Hill Academy 74-42 at home. That 74-42 margin sets a new team best for Danvers this season.
Danvers' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Benjamin Hanas led the charge by scoring nine points along with eight rebounds. That's the first time this season that Hanas pulled down eight or more rebounds. Harven Saint-vil was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
The win (which was Danvers' third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Prospect Hill Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Danvers will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Gloucester at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th. Prospect Hill Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Innovation Academy at 12:45 p.m. on January 13, 2024.
