The Red Bluff Spartans won the last time they faced the Corning Cardinals, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Red Bluff enjoyed a cozy 53-38 win over Corning. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Red Bluff.
Red Bluff got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryan Ross out in front who scored 7 points. Kayden Leaf was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Corning's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Roman Bennett, who scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kaidan Raker, who scored 5 points along with 6 rebounds.
Red Bluff's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Corning, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Red Bluff will head out on the road to face off against Arcata at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Arcata focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Saturday. Corning is on the road again on Friday and play against West Valley at 5:30 p.m. on December 8th.
