McClatchy put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Franklin Yellowjackets by a score of 11-6. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Antonio Barber, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Charlie Rios, who scored two runs while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances.

McClatchy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Franklin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

McClatchy will head out on the road to challenge Bear Creek at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
