Last Friday, Era came up short against Collinsville and fell 65-54. Era has struggled against Collinsville recently, as their match on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Chico's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 20th straight loss. They were beaten by Collinsville 65-25. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Chico has suffered since December 29, 2023.
Era has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-12 record this season. As for Chico, they dropped their record down to 3-22 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home.
