Crestview had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past the Tate Aggies 38-6. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Crestview's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zy Tassin led the charge by rushing for 73 yards and a pair of scores on only ten carries, while also throwing for 80 yards and one TD while completing 71.4% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Patrick Rodgers, who gained 108 total yards and a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Crestview was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 211 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tate only rushed for 88.

Crestview didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Tassin and Jaxson Gathings.

Despite the loss, Tate saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brody White made 14 total tackles (1.0 for loss).

Crestview's record now sits at 5-3. As for Tate, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Crestview has already played their next contest, a 34-11 victory against Fort Walton Beach on the 31st. As for Tate, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Escambia on the 30th.
