Locust Grove won the last time they faced Woodland and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Wolfpack by a score of 2-0.

Ella Norsworthy paced Locust Grove's offense, picking up four kills. Norsworthy got some help from Avril Tomme and her six assists. Jorie Young controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Locust Grove's win bumped their record up to 17-7-1. As for Woodland, they moved to 18-8 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Coming up, Locust Grove will face off against Union Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolverines will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Woodland, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Eagle's Landing on the 30th.
