Evansville Reitz has gone a perfect 10-0 against Evansville Harrison recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Panthers will face off against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. This will be Evansville Reitz's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
Evansville Reitz took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against North Posey, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Vikings on Tuesday, sneaking past 9-8. The Panthers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Ella Ellerbrook spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and five unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up seven Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game.
At the plate, Sadey Jones was a standout: she scored three runs while going 3-for-5. Kinley Miller also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Evansville Reitz hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Posey struck out seven times.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last contest, Evansville Harrison made sure to put some runs up on the board against Evansville Bosse on Friday. The Warriors never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 23-0 win. Considering the Warriors' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Rhyann Guier made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI.
In other batting news, Joselyn Wade was incredible, going 3-for-5 with four runs, four RBI, and one triple. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Valerie Blackford was another key player, going 3-for-5 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.
With the victory, Evansville Reitz broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5. As for Evansville Harrison, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
Evansville Reitz took their victory against Evansville Harrison in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 16-3 score. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
