After losing to the Cascade Cadets the last time they met, the Monrovia Bulldogs decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Monrovia managed a 42-37 victory over Cascade on Friday.
Monrovia was led to victory by Hayden McCloud and Jayden Jones. McCloud scored 15 points, while Jones scored 17 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which McCloud has scored at least 25% of Monrovia's points.
Monrovia now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Cascade, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monrovia will take on Speedway at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Speedway is ranked 193rd, while Monrovia is ranked 184th). As for Cascade, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Indianapolis Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
