Wabasha-Kellogg had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They lost to Goodhue by a decisive 8-27 margin. If Wabasha-Kellogg were hoping to take revenge for the 0-21 loss against Goodhue the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 0-0.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Wabasha-Kellogg will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Hayfield at 7:00 PM. Goodhue are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Cotter next week at 7:00 PM.
