The Monrovia Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 87-62 margin over Brown County. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Monrovia has posted since November 22, 2023.
Monrovia's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tucker Rahn led the charge by scoring 24 points along with six assists and five rebounds. Rahn hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Hayden Mccloud, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists.
Monrovia's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9. As for Brown County, they dropped their record down to 7-8 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Monrovia will be playing in front of their home fans against Providence Cristo Rey at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Providence Cristo Rey has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 1. Brown County on the road again on Friday and play against Sullivan at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Sullivan will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
