Olentangy Orange was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-15, 21-25, 25-18, 15-11.
Olentangy Orange can attribute much of their success to Chloe Moore, who had ten digs and four aces. That's the most aces Moore has posted since back in October.
Moore wasn't the only good servers: Olentangy Orange was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in five consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Mentor faced Jackson in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Cardinals came out on top against the Polar Bears by a score of 3-1.
While Mentor might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Jackson scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-27, 25-23, 25-21.
Olentangy Orange's win bumped their record up to 24-2. As for Mentor, their victory bumped their record up to 21-5.
