Coral Reef's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gianmarco Altare, who scored 10 points. Corey Gellineau was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
Bruno Sanchez was on fire for Coral Gables: he scored 24 points along with 5 steals. Another player making a difference was Marcellis Williams , who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
Coral Reef's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Coral Gables, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
