They will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Palmetto Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Beth Haven has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 522 points over their last seven contests.
Even though Ryle scored an imposing 58 points on Saturday, Beth Haven still came out on top. The stars were shining brightly for Beth Haven in a 76-58 win over Ryle.
Beth Haven's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Harris, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Those 11 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was DaMontez Malone, who scored 17 points.
Meanwhile, Palmetto Christian Academy might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Cathedral Academy an easy 66-41 win. While losing is never fun, Palmetto Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 287th, while Cathedral Academy is ranked 87th).
Beth Haven pushed their record up to 8-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.3 points per game. As for Palmetto Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.
