Arlington hasn't had much luck against Monroe recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Eagles will host the Bearcats at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Arlington got their first taste of in-conference action on Thursday and they started things off strong. They came out on top against Jackson by a score of 5-1.
Jace Graham tossed a big game, striking out six batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, Daniel Delcoure was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Camden Knudson, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Monroe). They were the clear victors by a 22-2 margin over Marysville-Pilchuck on Thursday. With that victory, the Bearcats brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.
Gavin Prescott looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Joe Enrico, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. Cody Walker was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Monroe always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .552. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marysville-Pilchuck only posted an OBP of .400.
The win was the third in a row for Monroe, bringing their record up to 9-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Arlington, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.
