The Shields Panthers won the last time they faced the W.S. Neal Eagles, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Shields walked away with a 41-29 victory over W.S. Neal. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Shields.
Cantangelo Hicks continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 17 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now stole two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jalance Kimbrough, who scored 13 points.
The win got Shields back to even at 4-4. As for W.S. Neal, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shields will challenge Clarke County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clarke County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. W.S. Neal is on the road again on Thursday and play against Escambia County at 4:00 p.m. on December 7th.
