Basketball Recap: Dean Lowe Key Part of a Team Effort in Rams Win

T.C. Roberson won the last time they faced Enka and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went the T.C. Roberson Rams' way against the Enka Jets as the T.C. Roberson Rams made off with an 81-57 win. The Rams pushed the score to 60-39 by the end of the third, a deficit the Jets had little chance of recovering from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead T.C. Roberson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dean Lowe, who went 8 for 13 on his way to 18 points along with five boards and three blocks. With that strong performance, Lowe is now averaging an impressive 15 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Specht-Mitchell, who went 5 of 7 en route to 12 points and eight rebounds.

T.C. Roberson was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, Enka still got an impressive performance from Hyatt Middleton, who went 8 for 13 on his way to 16 points. Another player making a difference was Logan Trantham, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards.

With the victory, T.C. Roberson broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-11. As for Enka, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. T.C. Roberson will venture away from home to face off against Asheville at 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday. T.C. Roberson knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Asheville likes a good challenge. As for Enka, they will head out on the road to square off against McDowell at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McDowell is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 72.5 points per game this season.
