Sayre had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They never let the Thomas-Fay-Custer Terriers get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Terriers, too.

Sayre's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Thomas-Fay-Custer, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.
