For the first time this season, no quarterback threw for more than 600 yards in a game, but Deriante Jenkins of Lake Marion (Santee, S.C.) came awfully close.
Jenkins completed 22 of 30 passes for 575 yards and five touchdowns in a 61-6 win over Bethune-Bowman (S.C.) to lead all passing yardage totals as reported by coaches to MaxPreps.
Jenkins' main target, Mike Williams, also finished in the Top 5 among receivers, with nine catches for 250 yards and two touchdowns.
Ty Storey of Charleston (Ark.) was the only other quarterback over 500 yards with 553 and seven touchdowns in a 52-21 win over Gentry.
