The Summit Academy Bears's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They suffered a rough 82-57 defeat at the hands of Wasatch. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Several Bears players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Stewart Woodward, who scored 15 points. Colbyn Draper was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Summit Academy's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-3. As for Wasatch, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Summit Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on November 30th. As for Wasatch, they will head out on the road to face off against Timpanogos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
