Rah'Quez Shepard was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Ronald Padilla-Cordero, who scored seven points along with five steals.
Candlelight Christian Academy pushed their record up to 6-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Winter Haven Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-12.
Candlelight Christian Academy will head out on the road to challenge Excel Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Excel Christian Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 477 points over their last seven games. As for Winter Haven Christian, they will be playing at home against Crossroads Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
