Elijah Castro posted a new career-high in stolen bases on Thursday. He scored two runs and stole five bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. He has become a key player for Xavier Prep: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 6-7 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Castro and Xavier Prep will head out to square off against Shadow Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
